Had to change the picture. Cute, isn’t he? Not much news, but as an editor I am enjoying the sh*t slinging about Apple’s new Final Cut Pro X.
TV has been good for most part because of Game of Thrones. Very good indeed even though I didn’t know who anyone was until the end, when they were killed, or on the run. But hoorah if True Blood‘s season four isn’t airing and perhaps Bill has gone all evil, and done a poor impression of Buffy’s Spike in a British punk inspired flashback. Tara is now gay (hello again, Buffy fans) and I can’t help but wonder if The Master might sometime make an appearance.
As a camera op I’ve been in at the deep end with a Canon 60D DSLR, which whilst generating fabulously crisp and resplendent images, was functionally a tricky mule to wrangle. A training course perhaps. I’m hoping to meet some film people in Brighton this Friday, at the Brighton Film Coalition challenge, where writers will pitch their short scripts to a willing assortment of actors and crew.
I’m off now to download an audio book by David Lynch called Catching the Big Fish. Read by Lynch and unabridged, I’ve heard it’s good for stimulating the creative juices.
Hi Lucy. How are you? I don’t care if the gingerbread man is wonky, I still would eat him. 🙂
Yes, GoT is really entertaining. Never read the books so it’s new to me, so I’m not complaining about the script. 🙂
What’s up in Brighton these days?
Final Cut Pro X is superior to what many people provide it credit for!
